Privacy Policy
This policy describes how the Alfameli Workforce mobile application and companion web app (“the App”) handle personal information for employees using leave, claims, timesheets, and approvals.
Information we process
- Account data — name, email, role, and authentication credentials (or Microsoft sign-in where enabled).
- Workforce records — leave requests, expense claims (including receipt images you attach), timesheets, and approval decisions.
- Device signals — push notification tokens (APNs / FCM or Web Push), biometric unlock preference on device, and basic network status for offline messaging.
- Technical logs — security and diagnostic events needed to operate the service.
How we use it
- Authenticate you and protect your session (including optional Face ID / biometrics on device).
- Deliver leave, claims, timesheet, and approval workflows.
- Send operational alerts when something needs action or a request is decided.
- Improve reliability and security of the App.
Camera and photos
The App may access the camera or photo library only when you choose to attach a receipt to an expense claim. Images are uploaded to your organisation’s Alfameli workspace and treated as claim evidence.
Push notifications
If you enable device alerts, we store a device push token so we can notify you of approvals and status changes. You can disable alerts in Profile or in system settings.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Data is shared only with your employer’s authorised administrators, service providers that host or deliver the App (for example cloud hosting and push providers), and when required by law.
Retention
Workforce records are retained according to your employer’s HR / finance policies. Device push tokens are removed when you disable alerts or sign out.
Your choices
- Disable Face ID / biometric unlock in Profile.
- Disable device alerts in Profile or OS settings.
- Request access or correction of HR records through your employer’s usual channels.
